I was driving home today in the rain from a hard day at work when all of the sudden the sun came out from behind the clouds and as i turned onto Sandy Plains, i saw the most beautiful rainbow ever. It was so clear and bright i could see all of the colors. It was also the biggest rainbow i have ever seen. The traffic slowed down a little i guess because everyone was looking up at it. Anyway, it made my day.

This break has been really good! I was going to write about it, but it would be too long. I have gotten to do everything with friends from Rock Climbing to just chilling watching movies and eating junk. I was scared that the whole wisdom teeth thing might ruin the break, but that was no big deal at all :) It always takes me a while to be ready to go back to school, but im getting there now. I am starting to gather all of my stuff and get the few school supplies i  need (Yay!). I had a goal over the break to read all of the Lord of the Rings books, but i think im only going to get through two of them, but to my surprise im really enjoying reading them. I guess i will try to squeeze the last one in between all of my school work... it may take me all semester to get through it, but im going to!

Time to go though, Chicken Pot pie.

I get to go home for Thanksgiving Break tomorrow! I dont have anything due, i just have to work and go to CHOW, then, i'm home free! I can't wait to go home and rest. This past week has been a really challenge. I had a new experience. A girl i grew up playing with in the neighborhood passed away in a car accident over the weekend. I knew that some day, something like this was going to happen in my life, in my small little world, and it was painful. That pulled me away from school for a day and caused me to miss m calc test, ugh. So i got back to school on wen night with around founders thursday night and two other huge tests to study for on friday. Little did i know, i was going to have to take my calc test on friday...i found this out friday morning. Yea...i freaked. It was not really what i wanted to hear.  But, the Lord is faithful and somehow i made it actually doing better on the calc test than i normally do when i study my brains out. I have just been thinking a lot about my relationship with God and how apathetic i have become. I really need to work on that, because i need the strength of God to get me through the really hard times. When i'm flooded with memories of my childhood or the image of Jessie burned into my brain, i need comfort. Christ is that comfort for me, why do i forget that comfort as soon as I feel like i dont need it anymore. Sounds like a pretty foolish plan to me. I know i will do it again and continue to fall flat on my face, but God is merciful and faithful. He will never leave me. Anyway, this past week has been hard, but i made it through not from my own strength. The Lord has been teaching me so much during my time at Covenant.
